高建平，瑞典乌普萨拉大学美学博士，深圳大学人文学院院长，深圳大学美学与文艺批评研究院院长。中国中外文论学会会长，中华美学学会会长。曾任国际美学协会主席。著有《画境探幽》《全球化与中国艺术》《全球与地方：比较视野下的美学与艺术》《美学的当代转型》《西方美学的现代历程》《文学与美学的深度与宽度》《回到未来的中国美学》《中国艺术：从古代走向现代》等中文著作，以及《中国艺术的表现性动作》《美学与艺术：比较视野下的传统与当代中国》等英文著作。译有杜威《艺术即经验》、比格尔《先锋派理论》、比厄斯利《美学史：从古希腊到当代》等西方学术名著。编辑有多种丛书和译丛，任多种杂志主编、副主编或编委，并在《第欧根尼》《国际美学年刊》、以及《中国社会科学》《文学评论》《文艺研究》《学术月刊》《社会科学战线》等杂志发表一百多篇中英文论文。

Gao Jianping, Ph.D. from the University of Uppsala, Sweden, CASS researcher, and Doctoral Supervisor. Since 2010, he has served as Academic Director and Deputy Director of the Institute of Literature. He is also the Secretary-General of the International Association for Aesthetics, the Vice President of the Chinese Society for Aesthetics, the Director of the Academic Committee of Foreign Aesthetics, and the Secretary-General of the Chinese and Foreign Literary Theories Association. His major works include Expressive Movements of Chinese Art (English), The Exploration of the Painting World, Globalization and Chinese Art, both Global and Local: Aesthetics and Art in a Comparative Perspective, and more than 100 Chinese and English academic papers; translation work of Art is Experience, Theory of Avant-garde, A Brief History of Western Aesthetics, Aesthetics of Floyd. He is in charge of editing work for the multi-language series Blotting; he is editor-in-chief of classic translation works of modern aesthetics; he serves as the Executive Editor of Foreign Aesthetics; he has served as editor in many Chinese and foreign magazines such as Literary Review, Chinese Literature Yearbook, Contemporary Aesthetics, International Aesthetics Annual, Oriental Studies, International Sinology, Aesthetics, Chinese Aesthetics, Image etc.
