本书以唯物史观为指导，立足于实证研究，综合运用解密档案、内阁会议纪要、政府文件汇编、统计年鉴等原始资料，结合战后德国从分裂到统一的历程，以联邦德国对民主德国的经济政策作为研究对象，具体考察该政策在不同历史时期的特点、目标、措施及效果，力图揭示出该政策的演变过程，深入剖析促使其发生转变的内外部因素，进而客观阐释其在德国重新统一进程中的独特作用及其局限性，以深化战后德国统一史研究。

Guided by the materialist view of history and based on empirical research，this book makes comprehensive use of declassified archives，cabinet meeting minutes，government document compilations，official statistical yearbooks，and other original materials，and focuses on the economic policy of the Federal Republic of Germany towards the German Democratic Republic in the process of post-war Germany from division to reunification，specifically examines the characteristics，objectives，measures，and effects of this policy during different historical periods，aiming to reveal the evolution process of this policy，deeply analyzes the internal and external factors that promoted its transformation，and objectively interprets its unique role and limitations in the process of German reunification，thereby deepening the study of the history of postwar German reunification.
