Design and Experience: A Phenomenological Study
图书简介
In this book, we conducted a more in-depth systematic study about experience that the hot and core issues in the field of design research and from a phenomenological perspective.
The book is divided into seven sections. The introductory part start from the problem of relationship between design and experience, outlined the problem domains of this book from macro perspective and described the meaning creation and pursuit process in life word. The first chapter focused on elucidation of the phenomenological connotation about design and experience. This section described the deep-seated association between experience and technology, physical perception patterns and cultures.
The second chapter discussed the physical dynamics of the experience in design. Separately from Hermann Schmitz, Merleau-Ponty and Bourdieu's thinking, combined with specific design cases, described the physical dynamics and mechanism in design.
The third chapter discussed the cultural dynamics in design experience. Respectively around the relationship between design experience and design culture, design practice of value orientation, the design aesthetic schema of ethnic and national identity and other issues, dynamics and mechanisms of cultural experiences for detailed description.
The fourth chapter discussed ethical dynamics in design experience. This section started from Marx Scheler's thought that value feelings of innate order types, and combined with specific design cases, described the value feelings series in design experience, and reveal its profound ethical dynamics and mechanisms. On this basis, further elucidation of the value feelings series in design experience and human design practice deep association between behavioral choices, and strive to explore the possible path of humanity going out from the current crisis.
The part of follow-up discussion is the further elucidation of the book content. The first follow-up discussion started form phenomenology and focused on the technical and physical dimensions inherent in the design history, and represented the rich cultural connotations of design history narrative.
On the basis of earlier discussion, the second part of follow-up discussion revealed a huge research space of the new aesthetics inherent in study of design phenomenology.
