This book provides a comprehensive investigation of Wang Jia and his "Gleaning Notes" that combines religious standards and literary perspectives. Specifically, the book examines Wang Jia's origin and death year, makes an in-depth exploration of his travels and writings, and provides an all-round observation of Wang Jia's thought from the four aspects of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and the study of sophistication.
