In order to solve the problem of "finding a balance between economic development and ecological environment to achieve a win-win situation", the party and the state have issued a series of major decisions and deployments aimed at promoting "industrial transformation and upgrading" and "ecological civilization construction". It is under this grand social and historical background, from the perspective of industrial transformation and ecological civilization, this book draws on the industrial transformation experience of the "rust belt area" in the United States, Keihin Industrial Zone in Japan and Ruhr District in Germany, takes the Southern Jiangsu Industrial Park as the examination object, explores the local practical experience and model path of industrial transformation and ecological civilization construction, and analyzes the ecological transformation practice of the Southern Jiangsu Industrial Park from different dimensions and aspects such as institutional setting, technical path and social logic. On the basis of reflecting on the theory of ecological modernization, this paper puts forward the framework of "performance treadmill" to explain the current environmental pollution and the policy suggestions for promoting the construction of ecological civilization in the industrial park in southern Jiangsu.（AI翻译）
