Referring to the relationship between Chinese literature and world culture,the typical one is the relationship between Chinese literature and Korean literature or Japanese literature.Those relationship inclined many characters of Chinese literature in East Asia culture.There are also some unique topics,such as Tao Yuanming（陶渊明）.Tao Yuanming was known by Korean from the examination album Selection of Articles.Korean's research on the poet and his poems covered the whole ancient period,which are in aspects of Chinese literature,Korean literature,paintings and arts,upper class's explanations and lower class's understandings.From generation to generation,Korean litterateur tried to find culture qualities,spirit power and art style ect.from Tao Yuanming who had already become an culture icon.

According to the history record,in 788 AD,Shilla dynasty established different department levels that recruited students according to their scores,and took Selection of Articles as one of the compulsory references.There are nine poems of Tao Yuanming were selected in the Selection of Articles.And from Shilla dynasty Korean litterateur started to study Tao Yuanming.However,this fact has not draw enough attention of Chinese and Korean researchers.Only few articles studying about relationship between Tao Yuanming and Korean literature can be found in Korea,and none of this kind of article can be found in China.Our study is in the starting period now.

Every nation choose their own way to absorb different cultures and take national culture tradition as a standard.And Korea chose to accept different parts of Chinese literature following the changing of national political system,the most outstanding example of which is explaining to Tao Yuanming's works.

We tried to study the impact of Tao Yuanming's works to Korean classical literature and reveal the different attitudes of different nations towards Chinese literature in similar culture background and historical social status.And eventually we hope to prove Chinese literature's central status and key influence in East Asia's literature.

We applied the theories and methods of positivisim、comparative literatuce、and esthetics to our research.And we selected some typical topics to observe their culture significance and formulate our own perspective.

There were lots of Korean litterateurs admired Tao Yuanming,and some of them even posed as Tao's followers.They composed many poems imitating Tao Yuanming's style.However,there are lots of differences between Tao Yuanming and his ancient Korean followers,especially on the ideology.Those differences show the different national sentiment of Chinese and Korean.

Korean litterateurs'explaining to Tao Yuanming can be classified into four periods:starting period、developing period、peak period、declining period.And their explaining was influenced by Su Shi and Zhu Xi who appreciated Tao Yuanming.As a result,their explaining reflected their understanding on both literature and Confucius philosophy.Choi Choiwon in Shilla dynasty and Lee Inro in Koreoicus dynasty belongs to the starting period,and Lee Gyubo、Lee Saek、Lee Hwang were the representatives of peak period.The fashion of imitating Tao Yuanming got its peak in the mid of Korean dynasty.Many Tao Yuanming's poems and literary quotation became popular in Korean classical pastoralism poem.And jeong Cheol、Yun Seando were the representative poets.

From that on,Tao Yuanming has become a culture icon of Korean litterateur.Till the mid of Korean dynasty,Tao Yuanming's influence to Korean classical pastoralism poem came into civilian class,which shows the change and decline of Tao Yuanming.

Our book takes diachronic research as outline and synchronous compare as aim.At first,we use historical and sociological methods to expatiate that how Tao Yuanming's works got its influence in Korean literature; Secondly,we study Tao Yuanming's works in Korean literature from esthetic respects;Finally,we analyzed the art style of Korean classical pastorilism poem,in order to find Korean litterateur's psychology when absorbing Tao Yuanming's influence.

In a word,Tao Yuanming was accepted in Korean classical pastorilism poem as an inspiration character.Thus Tao Yuanming'reclusion was explained in a Korean literary style.This explaining way is called main body hermeneutic or reality hermeneutic,which contains some prejudice or misunderstanding.What we want to emphasize is this kind of“misunderstanding”is the Korean style explanation combining national character and historical factors.The relationship between Tao Yuanming and Korean classical pastorilism poem is more in culture than that in literature.
