由西北师范大学舞蹈学院邓小娟教授主编的《西北民间舞蹈研究》，即将由中国社会科学出版社出版，这本以硕士研究生学位论文为主的文集，使得我眼前一亮。我也曾多次前往甘肃，进行调研、参与艺术采风，但对于身处丝绸之路要道上的这所百年学府的高等舞蹈学科并不熟知，当我翻看本文集各篇论文的题目、章节以及详细内容时，我的心怦然跳动，以人类学的视野，对民间舞蹈的挖掘整理与文化解读正是我学术研究的重要方向，同时也是我对高校民间舞蹈文化研究领域研究生学位论文选题的殷切期望。欣慰之余，我想应该对扎根在甘肃贫瘠而又广袤的土地上，从事高等舞蹈专业教育的一群师生有所表达。

首先，他们做这件事情是值得肯定的，是有价值的。西北的地理环境复杂多样、既是中国经济和能源的战略要地，又是民间舞蹈艺术的天然宝库。人民不同的生活劳作方式、多民族的宗教信仰习俗及其在历史发展中的交融与共进，构成了丰富多样且独具地域特色的文化格局及农牧并举的社会生活形态。在历史的长河中，有些民族民间舞蹈已经消失在时空里，有些在古代西北各民族的迁徙中相互融合，有些则依然深深地根植在民间。民族民间舞蹈的意义和价值正是通过代代沉积的习惯、信念和风俗仪式以鲜活的肢体形象渗透在人们的生活实践中，成为一个民族、国家守望精神家园的重要组成部分。西北师范大学舞蹈学院的师生身处西北，他们能够正视民间舞蹈的生态特色和内质，树立舞蹈生态系统的多维审视，运用舞蹈生态学的研究方法，深入民间，深入民间舞蹈的文化场域，向民间艺人学习，通过观察、访谈、记录、描述、分析与解释，他们既感受到了民间舞蹈的鲜活与灵动，又以科学的视角与方法对民间舞蹈的“活态样式”进行了文化解读，使之成为共享资源，呈现当代。在民间舞蹈的生态性面临商业化经营和输出的今天，民间舞蹈的乡土文化即将失去其原真性，而西北师范大学舞蹈学院的师生们以“舞蹈文化人”的名义，浪漫而坚韧地表达着对大西北民间舞蹈艺术的执着与信仰，他们的举动，是对于民族民间舞蹈“价值”及“秩序”的坚持，这种匡正文化的态度，彰显了一群人的心智和灵性。

其次，西北师范大学对于舞蹈人才培养的定位是准确的，对于硕士研究生的培养具有一定规格和标准。大学的重要使命是人才培养，以高等教育科学、艺术科学为基础，根据现有学生的实际情况，注重舞蹈艺术人才内涵式的发展。我们可以看到，几乎每篇论文都是在田野调查的基础上完成的，研究视角与方法符合学术规范的科学要求，又能够从实际出发尊重研究对象的自身规律与特征。既有较为丰富的文献，又有扎实的案头工作，对于建设与发展仅几年的舞蹈硕士研究生教育而言，学校的办学理念，人才的培养方向以及学生的理论与方法论训练水平，都是值得更多院校学习的。希望他们恪守高等舞蹈人才对于学术研究精神的追求，扎根西北，为中国的民间舞蹈文化研究助力。

当然，西北师范大学舞蹈学科建设的十多年中，不断追寻本土文化品格，建立西北民间舞蹈文化研究与舞蹈教育的研究梯队，以此搭建全国舞蹈文化资源的共享平台，此举措是立足西北，展望未来的中国高等舞蹈教育的梦想。伴随国民与日俱增的精神文化追求，我们寄希望于西北师范大学的高等舞蹈专业教育，在肩负培养高层次舞蹈艺术人才历史使命的同时，能够以身体文明为先导，引领民众科学、文明、健康的生活方式，繁荣西北的文化事业，在推进丝绸之路经济带建设中发挥更为重要的作用。

真诚地祝福这所高校，祝福这群游走在西北民间舞蹈文化研究中的师生，希望在未来能构建属于自身的“区域舞蹈文化”研究体系，为灿烂的中华文明注入新的活力。

First of all, they do this thing to be affirmable and valuable. The geographical environment of Northwest China is complex and diverse, which is not only a strategic location for China's economy and energy, but also a natural treasure trove of folk dance art. The different ways of life and work of the people, the religious beliefs and customs of multiple ethnic groups and their integration and progress in historical development constitute a rich and diverse cultural pattern with unique regional characteristics and social life forms of agriculture and animal husbandry. In the long river of history, some ethnic folk dances have disappeared in time and space, some have integrated with each other in the migration of various ethnic groups in the ancient northwest, and some are still deeply rooted in the people. The meaning and value of ethnic folk dance is precisely through the habits, beliefs and customs rituals deposited from generation to generation to penetrate people's life practice with vivid body images, and become an important part of the spiritual home of a nation and country. The teachers and students of the School of Dance of Northwest Normal University are located in the northwest, they can face up to the ecological characteristics and intrinsic nature of folk dance, establish a multi-dimensional examination of the dance ecosystem, use the research methods of dance ecology, go deep into the folk, go deep into the cultural field of folk dance, learn from folk artists, through observation, interview, recording, description, analysis and interpretation, they not only feel the vividness and flexibility of folk dance, but also make a cultural interpretation of the "living style" of folk dance from a scientific perspective and method, making it a shared resource. In the ecology of folk dance facing commercial operation and export today, the local culture of folk dance is about to lose its authenticity, and the teachers and students of the School of Dance of Northwest Normal University in the name of "dance culture people", romantically and tenaciously express their dedication and belief in the folk dance art of the great northwest, their actions are the adherence to the "value" and "order" of national folk dance, this attitude of correct culture highlights the mind and spirituality of a group of people. Secondly, Northwest Normal University's positioning for the cultivation of dance talents is accurate, and it has certain specifications and standards for the training of master's students. The important mission of the university is to cultivate talents, based on higher education science and art science, and pay attention to the connotative development of dance art talents according to the actual situation of existing students. We can see that almost every paper is completed on the basis of fieldwork, and the research perspective and method meet the scientific requirements of academic norms, and can respect the laws and characteristics of the research object from the practical point of view. With both rich literature and solid desk work, for the construction and development of dance master's education for only a few years, the school's school philosophy, talent training direction and students' theoretical and methodological training level are all worth learning from more institutions. It is hoped that they will abide by the pursuit of academic research spirit of advanced dance talents, take root in the northwest, and contribute to the research of Chinese folk dance culture.
