现存明代茶书共有50种。明代茶书可从原创性、内容、地域这三种不同的角度分类。作者身份有宗室、官僚、文人、僧道,作者籍贯以南方各省占绝大部分,作者年代以嘉靖以后的晚明居多。明代茶书的内容可分为茶、水茶具和茶艺四个方面。中国古代影响最大的三大思想流派儒、释、道均对明代茶书有深刻影响。明代特别虽明后期,社会有深厚的隐逸风气和观念,许多文人隐于茶,明代茶书对此多有反映。明代尤其是晚明商品经济有很大发展,与唐代茶书主要记录贡茶大为不同的是,明代茶书主要反映的是商品茶。明代士人嗜茶者众,追求一种闲逸超脱的生活,结成了一些以茶相交的茶人群体。
There are 50 kinds of existing tea books in the Ming Dynasty. The tea books of the Ming Dynasty can be classified from three different perspectives: originality, content and region. The authors were from imperial clans, bureaucrats, literati, and religions. A majority of the authors were from the southern provinces. The authors were mostly born in the late Ming Dynasty after Jiajing. The contents of tea books in the Ming Dynasty can be divided into four aspects: tea, water, tea set and tea art. The three major schools of thought in ancient China, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, had a profound influence on the tea books of the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, especially the late Ming Dynasty, the society had a strong atmosphere and concept of seclusion. Many literati were secluded with the companion of tea, which was indicated in tea books of the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, especially the late Ming Dynasty, the commodity economy developed greatly. Unlike records of the Tang and Song Dynasties in tea books, the tea books of the Ming Dynasty mainly reflect commodity tea. Many people in the Ming Dynasty were addicted to tea, pursuing a life of leisure, and forming a group of people who were acquainted with tea.
