Culture is the soul and power of the social development and progress.Building the socialist harmonious society needs the support and promotion of the harmonious culture.In contemporary China,the harmonious culture is not only the crucial spiritual support of unity and progress to all the people,but also the ideological and moral foundation of the promotion of the social harmony,as well as the tremendous spiritual force of the Chinese characteristic socialism.The construction of socialist harmonious culture is not only a historical subject,but also the topic of the times;it is not only a theoretical subject,but also a practical one.Therefore，in order to strengthen the harmonious cultural study,we must grasp the history profoundly,keep pace with the times and deepen theoretical innovation;stand on the height of the times,take a long-range approach and promote social harmony and progress.

In a word,Analyzing the theoretical evolution and building the theoretical system of harmonious culture,is of great significance to strengthen the harmonious cultural construction in practice and promote the society to be harmonious.In terms of the aspects of era and practice,harmonious culture is an important practice concept.It requires us to combine the theory with practice,analyze the main opportunity and challenge which harmonious culture faces,and propose the corresponding construction routes and methods.The transformation of the times theme and the trend of globalization provide a favorable environmental conditions for the harmonious cultural construction,the concept of Scientific development and the practice of building socialist harmonious society offer the solid practice foundation for harmonious cultural construction,the further liberation of thought and the renewal of idea are solid ideological premise for harmonious cultural construction in the new century and stage.But we can still find many problems in the construction of the harmonious culture from the present status of cultural development,such as the overflow of mass culture and the shrinkage of elite culture,the impulsion of Western culture and the lacking of traditional culture,the chaos of value and the disorder of moral,the barriers of institution and the stagnancy of development,and so on.In view of this condition and foundation,we propose some basic suggestions for the harmonious cultural construction briefly:Firstly,we should build the socialist core value system and deal with the relationship between dominant culture and Multi-culture correctly;Secondly,we should utilize various culture resources rationally and deal with the relationship between cultural accumulation ＆innovation,cultural conflict ＆integration correctly;Thirdly,we should build the harmonious social morals and deal with the relationship between the value-rebuildment and the moral-renewal correctly;Fourthly,we should further deepen the system reform of culture and deal with the relationship between cultural undertakings＆industries,cultural competition＆fair correctly;Fifthly，we should establish a scientific cultural system and deal with the relationship between cultural production and social demand,the various factors in culture.In a word,we believe that the new climax of the harmonious cultural construction will come and the society will step into the new development realm of a harmonious civilization soon with the in-depth study,the settlement of contradiction and enhancement of construction.
