PBL教学法是美国神经病理教授Barrowsl969年在加拿大麦克马斯特大学最先提出,之后被广泛应用于医学教育之中,目前成为世界最流行的教学方法之一。PBL教学法是否适用于思想政治理论课教学呢?怀着这样的疑问,笔者进行了初步的理论探讨和实践尝试,其结论是肯定的。PBL教学法体现的“问题意识”是思维的动力,是创新的基石,这种“问题探究” 式的教学符合人的认知规律;PBL教学法强调的“以学生为中心”能充分调动学生的积极性、主动性和创造性,更有利于提高思想政治理论课的实效性;PBL教学法关照“现实问题”的理念恰好与思想政治理论课的“现实关怀”高度一致。基于此,笔者在高校思想政治理论课“中国近现代史纲要” 的教学中大胆运用了PBL教学,教学效果良好,受到学校教学顾问组和广大同学的好评。
“中国近现代史纲要”是全国高科学校本科生必修的思想政治理论课之一。作者以该课程的全国统编教材为基础,结合多年来的PBL教学实践,成功地把教材体系转化为PBL教学体系,是与教材完全匹配的教师参考用书。其内容涵盖了从1840年直到今天中国的历史,分为上中下三篇。其中上篇“风云变幻的八十年”包括近代中国反对外国侵略的斗争、中国社会各阶级对国家出路的早期探索、辛亥革命等内容;中篇“翻天覆地的三十年”包括马克思主义在中国的传播和中国人产党的创立、中国革命新道路的探索、中国的抗日战争、中国人民的解放战争等内容;下篇“辉煌的历史征程”包括社会主义制度在中国的确立、中国社会主义建设事业的早期探索、改革开放以来新的历史征程等内容。
The PBL teaching method was first proposed by American neuropathology professor Barrowsl in 969 at McMaster University in Canada, and has since been widely used in medical education and has become one of the most popular teaching methods in the world. Is the PBL pedagogy applicable to the teaching of ideological and political theory? With such doubts, the author conducted preliminary theoretical discussions and practical attempts, and its conclusion is positive. The "problem awareness" embodied in PBL pedagogy is the driving force of thinking and the cornerstone of innovation, and this "problem inquiry" teaching is in line with the law of human cognition; The "student-centered" emphasis of PBL pedagogy can fully mobilize students' enthusiasm, initiative and creativity, and is more conducive to improving the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses. The concept of PBL pedagogy focusing on "real problems" is highly consistent with the "practical concern" of ideological and political theory courses. Based on this, the author boldly uses PBL teaching in the teaching of the ideological and political theory course "Outline of Modern and Modern Chinese History" in colleges and universities, and the teaching effect is good, which is well received by the school's teaching advisory group and the majority of students. "Outline of Modern and Modern Chinese History" is one of the compulsory ideological and political theory courses for undergraduates in colleges and universities across the country. Based on the national unified textbook of the course, combined with years of PBL teaching practice, the author has successfully transformed the textbook system into a PBL teaching system, which is a teacher's reference book that completely matches the textbook. Its content covers the history of China from 1840 to the present day, and is divided into three parts: upper, middle and lower. The first part, "Eighty Years of Turbulent Changes", includes the struggle against foreign aggression in modern China, the early exploration of the way out for the country by all classes of Chinese society, and the Xinhai Revolution; The novella "Thirty Years of Earthshaking" includes the spread of Marxism in China, the founding of the Chinese Party, the exploration of a new path of the Chinese revolution, China's War of Resistance Against Japan, and the Chinese People's War of Liberation.
