大家好！

今天，我们在这里举行第一届中国文艺长安论坛开幕式。首先，请允许我代表中国文联对长安论坛的创办和第一届论坛的召开表示热烈祝贺！

我们知道，2014年10月，习近平总书记亲自主持召开文艺工作座谈会并发表重要讲话，对包括加强改进文艺评论在内的文艺工作作出了重要论述和指导，是新形势下文艺工作的指南针和导航仪。2015年10月，中央颁布《关于繁荣发展社会主义文艺的意见》，对社会主义文艺繁荣发展作出重要战略部署和有效推进。2016年5月，习近平总书记亲自主持召开哲学社会科学工作座谈会并发表重要讲话，对加快构建中国特色哲学社会科学提出明确要求。2016年7月1日，习近平总书记在庆祝中国共产党成立95周年大会上的重要讲话中明确要求，坚持不忘初心、继续前进，就要坚持中国特色社会主义道路自信、理论自信、制度自信、文化自信，坚持党的基本路线不动摇，不断把中国特色社会主义伟大事业推向前进。

我们在第一时间组织学习了总书记重要讲话精神和中央文件精神，我们感到，把总书记重要讲话精神和中央文件精神落到实处，需要在持续做好既有工作的基础上，坚持开拓创新，创设一些有利于凝聚力量，有利于交流思想，有利于破解难题，有利于增进共识的工作平台和抓手。中国文艺长安论坛就这样应运而生了。这个论坛是在中国文艺评论家协会倡议下，经中国文联批准，由中国文艺评论家协会、陕西省委宣传部、西北大学共同创办的，论坛落户在西安，由西北大学中国文艺评论基地承办。应该说，这是中国文联、中国文艺评论家协会贯彻落实总书记系列重要讲话精神的一项重要举措。论坛以中国文艺繁荣发展的重大理论和现实问题为主要研究研讨方向，努力汇聚国内文艺研究者、创作者和评论者，为加强改进文艺评论工作，推动文艺事业健康发展集思广益、出谋划策，具有十分重要的意义。

第一届论坛以“中华美学与当代表达”为主题，邀请全国80名余专家学者、20余家媒体单位汇聚一堂，围绕“文化自信与世界眼光”“现实主义与中国传统”“中华美学与当代呈现”“网络文艺与时代审美”四个方面共同研讨。我认为，这个主题抓得很准，也很及时。文化自信，是一个民族、一个国家、一个政党对自身所拥有的文化的充分肯定和积极践行，是对自身文化生命力和影响力的坚定信心和发展希望。正如总书记所指出的，文化自信，是更基础、更广泛、更深厚的自信。他还指出，在5000多年文明发展中孕育的中华优秀传统文化，在党和人民伟大斗争中孕育的革命文化和社会主义先进文化，积淀着中华民族最深层的精神追求，代表着中华民族独特的精神标识。坚定文化自信，就要弘扬社会主义核心价值观，弘扬以爱国主义为核心的民族精神和以改革创新为核心的时代精神，不断增强全党全国各族人民的精神力量。

中华美学是中华优秀传统文化的有机组成部分，也是文化自信的重要来源。总书记在文艺工作座谈会重要讲话中明确指出，要结合新的时代条件传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化，传承和弘扬中华美学精神。中华美学讲求托物言志、寓理于情，讲求言简意赅、凝练节制，讲求形神兼备、意境深远，强调知、情、意、行相统一。我们要坚守中华文化立场、传承中华文化基因，展现中华审美风范。在文化自信的视野下，传承和弘扬中华美学，就要接续中华文论的优秀传统，认真梳理中华美学的丰富内涵，紧密结合当代中国的文艺实践，充分发掘“中华美学精神”的实践内涵，把中华美学精神的要求贯彻到文艺创作和评论实践中去，努力建构具有中国特色、中国风格、中国气派的中华文艺的话语体系、学科体系和评价体系。只有这样，才能让中华美学在当代焕发新的生机和光彩，为坚定中华儿女的文化自信作出重要贡献。

陕西历史悠久，文化源远流长。作为古丝绸之路的发端，陕西自古就是中外经济、文化交流的重要节点之一，也是中华文化与西方文化交流、融汇的一片热土。中华历史上许多辉煌的时代，都与陕西有关。近年来，陕西文艺界认真贯彻落实党的文艺路线方针政策，勤奋耕耘、锐意创新，文艺事业不断迈上新台阶。西北大学是我国西北学术重镇，具有悠久的学术传统和丰厚的学术积淀，在文学艺术理论评论领域成果丰硕。2015年，西北大学与中国文艺评论家协会共建了中国文艺评论基地。基地成立以来，围绕现实主义文艺创作与评论等重大课题开展了卓有成效的研究工作，取得了一批成果。中国文艺长安论坛落户西安，陕西省委宣传部、西北大学为此做了大量工作，为我们创造了很好的学习、研讨的条件。希望大家抓住这次机会，真诚交流、畅所欲言，为我国文艺繁荣发展贡献真知灼见。

Today, we are here to hold the opening ceremony of the first Chang'an Forum on Chinese Literature and Art. First of all, on behalf of the China Federation of Literary and Cultural Associations, please allow me to express my warm congratulations on the establishment of the Chang'an Forum and the convening of the first forum! As we know, in October 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping personally presided over a symposium on literary and art work and delivered an important speech, which made important expositions and guidance on literary and artistic work, including strengthening and improving literary and art criticism, and is a compass and navigator for art work in the new situation. In October 2015, the central government promulgated the Opinions on the Prosperous Development of Socialist Literature and Art, making important strategic arrangements and effectively promoting the prosperity and development of socialist literature and art. In May 2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping personally presided over the Philosophy and Social Sciences Work Symposium and delivered an important speech, putting forward clear requirements for accelerating the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics. We feel that to implement the spirit of the general secretary's important speech and the spirit of the central document, it is necessary to persist in pioneering and innovating on the basis of continuing to do a good job in existing work, and create some working platforms and grasps that are conducive to gathering forces, exchanging ideas, solving difficult problems, and enhancing consensus. This is how the Chang'an Forum of Chinese Literature and Art came into being. This forum was initiated by the China Literary and Art Critics Association, approved by the China Federation of Literary and Art Critics, jointly founded by the China Literary and Art Critics Association, the Propaganda Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Northwest University. It should be said that this is an important measure taken by the China Federation of Literary and Art Critics and the China Literary and Art Critics Association to implement the spirit of the general secretary's series of important speeches. The forum takes the major theoretical and practical issues of the prosperity and development of Chinese literature and art as the main research and discussion direction, and strives to bring together domestic literary and art researchers, creators and critics, and it is of great significance to brainstorm and make suggestions for strengthening and improving the work of literary and art criticism and promoting the healthy development of literary and artistic undertakings. With the theme of "Chinese Aesthetics and Contemporary Expression", the first forum invited more than 80 experts and scholars and more than 20 media units from all over the country to gather together to discuss the four aspects of "cultural confidence and world vision", "realism and Chinese tradition", "Chinese aesthetics and contemporary presentation" and "Internet literature and art and the aesthetics of the times". I think this theme is accurate and timely. Cultural self-confidence is the full affirmation and active practice of the culture owned by a nation, a country and a political party, and a firm confidence and development hope for its own cultural vitality and influence. As the general secretary pointed out, cultural self-confidence is a more basic, broader, and deeper self-confidence. He also pointed out that the excellent traditional Chinese culture nurtured in the development of civilization for more than 5,000 years, the revolutionary culture and the advanced socialist culture nurtured in the great struggle of the party and the people, have accumulated the deepest spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation and represent the unique spiritual mark of the Chinese nation. To strengthen cultural self-confidence, it is necessary to carry forward the core socialist values, carry forward the national spirit with patriotism as the core and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core, and constantly enhance the spiritual strength of the whole party and the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country. Chinese aesthetics is an organic part of China's excellent traditional culture and an important source of cultural self-confidence. In his important speech at the symposium on literary and artistic work, the general secretary clearly pointed out that it is necessary to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and inherit and carry forward the Chinese aesthetic spirit in light of the conditions of the new era. Shaanxi has a long history and a long cultural history. Northwest University is an important academic center in Northwest China, with a long academic tradition and rich academic accumulation, and has achieved fruitful results in the field of literary and artistic theory criticism. In 2015, Northwest University and the China Literary and Art Critics Association jointly established the Chinese Literary and Art Critics Base. Since its establishment, the base has carried out fruitful research work on major topics such as realistic literary and artistic creation and criticism, and achieved a number of results. The Chang'an Forum on Chinese Literature and Art settled in Xi'an, and the Propaganda Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Northwest University have done a lot of work for this, creating good conditions for us to study and discuss.
