重庆中国特色社会主义理论研究中心（原重庆邓小平理论与“三个代表”重要思想研究中心），是2006年重庆市政府命名的人文社会科学重点研究基地，由重庆社会科学院、重庆工商大学共同建设。“中心”学术委员会主任为中国社科院马研院党委书记、院长邓纯东研究员，“中心”主任是孟东方教授，“中心”汇聚了国务院特殊津贴专家、重庆市哲学社会科学领军人才、重庆市学术技术带头人、重庆市重点学科带头人等在内的50余位研究人员。

近年来，主要研究人员承担了国家社科基金10多项，省部级课题50多项，系列成果获省部级领导肯定性批示和中央、省部级部门应用；出版专著20多部，发表CSSCI及以上论文100多篇，获得省部级政府一等奖10多项，二等奖、三等奖20多项。
