《中国城市竞争力报告No.16》延续了2017年从城市看中国这一研究视角，通过城市来观察中国的经济集聚、人才争夺和产业迁移，有新的发现和突破如下：一是中西部头部城市崛起，南北分化加剧，以东中一体和一网五带为标志的中国经济空间新格局越发凸显；二是中部地区人口持续回流，东中一体趋势加强，“北雁南飞”成为新趋势，城市间人才大战日趋激烈；三是制造业向中部地区转移，东中一体趋势明显，成熟城市群内制造业向周边扩散，成长中城市群内制造业则向中心城市加速集聚，非城市群内城市产业结构趋于低端服务业化。

Abstract

Theperspective of Annual Report on China's Urban Competitiveness （No.16）is studying China from the city like last year.Through cities to observe China's economic agglomeration,talent competition and industrial migration.The new discoveries and breakthrough are as follows: Firsly,the western head cities has risen,the differentiation between North and South has intensified,and the new pattern of China's economic space,marked by the integration of East and East and one network and five belts,has become increasingly prominent;Secondly,the population in the central region continues to return,the trend of integration in the East and Central has been strengthened,“Northern Geese Fly to South”has become a new trend,and talent wars among cities are becoming increasingly fierce;Thirdly,the manufacturing industry is moving toward the central region;manufacturing within the mature urban clusters is spreading to the periphery,and the manufacturing industry in the growing urban cluster is accelerating to the central city,the industrial structure tends to be low-end service industry when cities out of urban cluster.

Based on previous theoretical frameworks,this report has only slightly change the index system,and still builds three classes of competitiveness index systems.Meanwhile,this report also used big data technology in order to address the important role of key indexes in urban competitiveness.
