海峡两岸“书不同文”的现状，在一定程度上成为两岸文化交流的不利因素。随着社会信息化程度的迅速提高，其不利影响日益突显。计算机技术已经普及到所有行业和工作领域，计算机字符集字形实际控制着社会用字字形，对汉字字形进行规范统一是信息社会发展的客观需求。本书以CJK字符集中两岸同编码的差异字形为研究重点，对具有代表性的差异字形进行历史和现实的多角度对比、分析，描写字形演变的轨迹，探究演变的成因，评价字形变化在汉字发展史中的价值和局限，指出具有优势的字形特点，从而对统一目标字形的择定提出建议，达到两岸文字在计算机系统中的规范化、标准化。这是对两岸没有繁简差别的共同汉字—传承字和繁体字的微观字形统一作出的初步尝试，是两岸文字实现“书同文”的重要组成部分。

The current situation of "different books and different languages" on both sides of the Taiwan Strait has to a certain extent become an unfavorable factor for cross-strait cultural exchanges. With the rapid improvement of social informatization, its adverse effects have become increasingly prominent. Computer technology has been popularized in all industries and work fields, computer character set glyphs actually control the social glyphs, and the standardization and unification of Chinese character glyphs is the objective demand of the development of information society. This book focuses on the different glyphs of the same encoding on both sides of the strait in the CJK character set, compares and analyzes the representative different glyphs from multiple angles in history and reality, describes the trajectory of glyph evolution, explores the causes of evolution, evaluates the value and limitations of glyph changes in the history of Chinese character development, points out the characteristics of glyphs with advantages, and makes suggestions on the selection of unified target glyphs, so as to achieve the standardization and standardization of cross-strait characters in the computer system. This is an initial attempt to unify the microscopic glyphs of common Chinese characters that do not have traditional and simplified differences between the two sides of the strait, inheritance characters and traditional characters, and is an important part of the realization of "the same text in books" in cross-strait characters.（AI翻译）
