摘要：公开是现代司法的重要特征，是司法人民性的重要体现。近年来，人民法院通过构建司法公开四大平台，在司法公开工作上取得重大进展。尤其是随着庭审公开平台的建成开通，人民法院庭审公开工作进展迅速，不仅使中国的司法公开进入一个新阶段，也使全人类的司法公开再上一个新台阶。受最高人民法院委托，中国社会科学院法学研究所支振锋教授带领研究团队对2017年全国法院庭审公开工作进行了第三方评估。

本书作为2017年人民法院庭审公开第三方评估的研究成果，对此次庭审公开评估的原则、对象、方法进行了详细论证，对2017年全国法院庭审公开工作的基本状况、重大进步进行了客观呈现和分析，总结了我国庭审公开的成绩和经验，指出了其缺陷与不足，并提出了改进意见与建议。对各级法院实务工作者、司法改革研究者以及关注中国法治进程的各界人士，本书都有一定参考价值。

Abstract: Openness is an important feature of modern judiciary and an important manifestation of the nature of people's court.In recent years,the People's Courts have made significant progress in judicial openness work by building four platforms for judicial openness.Especially with the opening and operation of the openness platform for judicial trials,the openness work of the people's courts has progressed rapidly,which not only brought the China's judicial openness into a new stage,but also brought the judicial openness of all mankind to a new level.Entrusted by the Supreme People's Court,the team led by Professor Zhi Zhenfeng from the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted an Independent Evaluation on the Openness of China's Judicial Trial.As the research result of the evaluation,this book thoroughly examined the principles,objects and methods of the evaluation on the openness of China's Judicial trial,and objectively presented and analyzed the basic situation and major progress of the 2017 national court trial openness work.At the same time,this book summarized the achievements and experiences of the judicial trial openness in China,pointed out its defects and shortcomings,and proposed improvement advices and suggestions.Therefore,this book has certain reference value for judicial practitioners at all levels,judicial reform researchers,and people who concerning about the rule of law in China.
