南京大学哲学系逻辑学科具有深厚的历史传统，著名学者刘伯明、汤用彤、熊十力、牟宗三、唐君毅、胡世华、何兆清、王宪钧、陈康、倪青原、殷海光等曾在原国立中央大学哲学系（即其前身）和金陵大学哲学系从事逻辑教学与研究，数学系莫绍揆等著名数理逻辑专家也长期关心与支持哲学系逻辑学科的发展。1960年南京大学恢复哲学专业之际即设立了逻辑学教研室，改革开放以来特别是1982年获得逻辑学硕士学位授权以来，南大逻辑学科获得了长足发展。2001 年开始招收逻辑学方向博士生，2003年获得逻辑学专业博士学位授予权，并以本专业为主体设立南京大学现代逻辑与逻辑应用研究所。作为哲学一级学科重要分支学科，2008年入选江苏省重点学科；2011年入选江苏省优势学科工程；2017年入选教育部“双一流”学科建设工程。自1960年以来，先后在南京大学哲学学科从事逻辑学教学工作的有林仁栋、郁慕镛、李廉、李志才、郑毓信、吕植壮、王义、张建军、蔡仲、杜国平、王克喜、潘天群、顿新国、陶孝云、张力锋、袁永锋。亦曾聘请美国学者R.C.Koons，澳大利亚学者G.Priest，日本学者金子守，法国学者 O.Brenifier，挪威学者 O.Asheim，台湾地区学者刘福增、王文方等开设长短期逻辑课程。逻辑学位点设立以来，李廉、李志才、郁慕镛、张建军先后担任学科带头人。先后担任逻辑学专业硕士生导师的有李廉、李志才、郁慕镛、张建军、杜国平、王克喜、潘天群、顿新国、张力锋；先后担任博士生导师的有张建军、潘天群、王克喜、顿新国、张力锋。迄今逻辑学专业共授予硕士学位110 人（含美国留学生1人）；授予博士学位50人。现有在读硕士研究生17人，在读博士研究生21 人（含香港留学生1 人）。逻辑学专业亦接受哲学博士后流动站合作研究人员，已出站9人。人才培养成绩显著，硕士、博士毕业生和博士后出站人员中已有一批中青年教学科研骨干活跃于学术界。从事其他领域工作的毕业生也以较强的理论素养、社会责任感和实际工作能力获得了广泛好评。

多年来，南大逻辑学科同仁以高度的使命感和敬业精神从事逻辑教育工作。在哲学专业本科逻辑教学，逻辑学专业研究生教学，全校逻辑通识课、文化素质课教学，以及多层次逻辑教育与社会服务等方面均做出了比较突出的贡献。与此同时，本学科也一直致力于推动师生的逻辑理论与应用研究工作，取得了一系列在学界具有广泛影响力的研究成果，逐步形成了自己的研究特色，得到海内外学界广泛好评。特别是“南京大学现代逻辑与逻辑应用研究所”成立以来，本学科适应当代逻辑科学发展趋势，致力于组织专兼职研究人员和研究生展开问题导向的跨学科、多视角交叉互动研究，设立了六大主要攻关领域：1.现代演绎逻辑与归纳逻辑研究；2.逻辑与哲学的交叉互动研究（含逻辑哲学、辩证逻辑研究）；3.逻辑与科学方法论（含人文社科方法论）的交叉互动研究；4.逻辑与认知科学及人工智能的交叉互动研究；5.逻辑与语言学的交叉互动研究（含非形式论证研究）；6.逻辑的社会文化功能及多层次逻辑教学现代化研究。近年又开拓出“思想分析与哲学践行”的研究方向。经过十几年的发展，在学术研究和人才培养上都取得了诸多新的进展，形成了一支年富力强、学风严谨、富有活力的学术团队，国内外学术交流日趋活跃，研究方向具有明显特色与优势，学科整体水平在国内同学科中位居前列。

南京大学现代逻辑与逻辑应用研究所成立以来，逻辑学科专职教师共主持国家社科基金项目11 项（含重大项目、重点项目各1 项），教育部人文社科基金项目4项（含重点基地重大项目2项），中央军委科技委前沿创新项目1项，江苏省社科基金项目4项，国家和江苏省博士后基金项目12项；入选“国家哲学社会科学成果文库”并获国家社科规划办表彰1项，获“金岳霖学术奖”4项，获教育部、江苏省和中国逻辑学会优秀成果奖励15项；张建军入选中央“马工程”课题组首席专家，杜国平、王克喜、顿新国先后入选课题组主要成员，潘天群、顿新国先后入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才”支持计划，张力锋入选江苏省“三三三工程”培养对象；张建军获南京大学“人文研究贡献奖”，顿新国、袁永锋、张力锋先后获南京大学“人文研究青年原创奖”。

《南京大学逻辑学文丛》旨在展示南大逻辑学科的研究特色及系列成果，以与海内外学界及广大读者交流。首批书目四册为南大逻辑学科时任四位专任教授的论文自选集，由中国社会科学出版社于2013年出版；第二批书目四册为本学科三部代表性专著和一部论文选集。各部著作的内容简介见作者所写“后记”。请学界同人与识者继续予以关注，并欢迎展开交流、切磋与合作研究。

Since the establishment of the logic degree program, Li Lian, Li Zhicai, Yu Muyong, and Zhang Jianjun have successively served as discipline leaders. Li Lian, Li Zhicai, Yu Muyong, Zhang Jianjun, Du Guoping, Wang Kexi, Pan Tianqun, Dunxinguo and Zhang Lifeng have successively served as master's tutors in logic; He has served as doctoral supervisors Zhang Jianjun, Pan Tianqun, Wang Kexi, Dun Xinguo and Zhang Lifeng. So far, a total of 110 master's degrees have been awarded to logic majors (including 1 American student); 50 doctoral degrees were awarded. The Department of Logic also accepts postdoctoral researchers from the Philosophy Postdoctoral Mobile Station, and 9 people have left the station. Remarkable achievements have been made in talent training, and a group of young and middle-aged teaching and research backbones have been active in academia among master's and doctoral graduates and postdoctoral outbound personnel. Graduates engaged in other fields have also been widely praised for their strong theoretical literacy, sense of social responsibility and practical work ability. Over the years, NTU colleagues in the Department of Logic have been engaged in logic education with a high sense of mission and professionalism. He has made outstanding contributions to the undergraduate logic teaching of philosophy major, postgraduate teaching of logic major, general logic course and cultural quality course teaching of the whole school, as well as multi-level logic education and social services. At the same time, this discipline has also been committed to promoting the logical theory and applied research of teachers and students, and has achieved a series of research results with wide influence in the academic field, and gradually formed its own research characteristics, which have been widely praised by the academic circles at home and abroad. Especially since the establishment of the "Institute of Modern Logic and Logic Application of Nanjing University", this discipline adapts to the development trend of contemporary logic science, is committed to organizing full-time and part-time researchers and graduate students to carry out problem-oriented interdisciplinary and multi-perspective cross-interaction research, and has established six major research areas: 1. Modern deductive logic and inductive logic research; 2. Cross-interaction research of logic and philosophy (including logical philosophy and dialectical logic research); 3. Research on the intersection of logic and scientific methodology (including humanities and social science methodology); 4. Research on the intersection of logic and cognitive science and artificial intelligence; 5. Research on the intersection of logic and linguistics (including non-formal argumentation research); 6.Research on the social and cultural function of logic and the modernization of multi-level logic teaching. In recent years, he has developed the research direction of "ideological analysis and philosophical practice". After more than ten years of development, many new progress has been made in academic research and talent training, forming a strong academic team with a strong year, rigorous learning style and vitality, academic exchanges at home and abroad are becoming increasingly active, the research direction has obvious characteristics and advantages, and the overall level of the discipline ranks in the forefront of the same discipline in China. Since the establishment of the Institute of Modern Logic and Logic Application of Nanjing University, full-time teachers of logic discipline have presided over 11 projects of the National Social Science Fund (including 1 major project and 1 key project), 4 projects of the Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education (including 2 major projects of key bases), 1 cutting-edge innovation project of the Science and Technology Commission of the Central Military Commission, 4 projects of Jiangsu Provincial Social Science Fund, and 12 national and Jiangsu Provincial Postdoctoral Fund projects.
