2019年是中华人民共和国成立70周年，同时也是中国与匈牙利建交70周年。在中国社会科学院欧洲研究所和匈牙利驻华使馆的共同推动下，中国—中东欧研究院与匈牙利国际事务与对外贸易研究所这两家设立在布达佩斯的智库于2019年春季发起了中匈双边关系70年的征文活动，并引起了两国学术界和智库的关注。通过对论文进行筛选，我们于2019年9月23日在布达佩斯举办了相关研讨会。本书是各方共同合作的最终成果，并且用中文、匈牙利文以及英文同步出版。中文版由中国社会科学出版社在北京出版，匈牙利文版由匈牙利国际事务与对外贸易研究所在布达佩斯出版，英文版由中国—中东欧研究院在布达佩斯出版。

The year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. Jointly promoted by the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Hungarian Embassy in China, the Institute of China-CEE Studies and the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs and Foreign Trade, two think tanks based in Budapest, launched an essay contest on 70 years of bilateral relations between China and Hungary in the spring of 2019, which attracted the attention of academia and think tanks of the two countries.
