作为一个“三农”大国，农民问题一直是学者关注的热点。国内外学者对于农民问题的研究著作汗牛充栋，概括起来分为两大学派：以美国学者为代表的理性小农学派，以马克思为代表的集体化学派。马克思主义者认为，农民无法依法个人解决自己的问题，必须走集体化、合作化的道路。21世纪初，中国“三农”发展到一个瓶颈，“三农”问题的矛盾越来越多，本书作者从农民与社会、农民与市场、改革传统农民以及研究农民学的方法四个方面提出了解决这些问题、缓解这些矛盾的看法。这些看法不是从政策角度来研究“怎么办”，而是从事实层面讨论和解决中国农民面临的实际问题。

As a big country with "three rural areas", the peasant issue has always been a hot spot for scholars. The research works of domestic and foreign scholars on peasant issues are full of sweat, which can be summarized into two school schools: the rational small peasant school represented by American scholars, and the collective chemistry school represented by Marx. Marxists believe that peasants cannot solve their own problems individually according to law, and must take the road of collectivization and cooperativeization.
