语音学的三个分支：发音语音学、声学语音学及听觉语音学，分别对应有声语言言语链的三个重要环节：言语的产生、传播以及感知，一起构成交际双方的感知链和自我感知反馈链。言语链上的各个环节需要相互关联，共同协作，才能保证顺利的言语交际。然而，对于重度或极重度听障患者而言，由于听觉器官病变或损伤，无法构成完整的言语交互回路，从而制约了其语言能力的正常发展，影响其社会化进程。

语音学是一门相对独立且交叉性很强的学科，涉及的研究领域相当广泛。中国的言语听觉科学需要与语音学、听力学、康复医学、计算语言学等多学科交叉融合，才能深入地考察中国言语障碍人群的话语特征；而语音学也应该发挥自身的学科优势，逐步开启从韵律小单元迈向韵律大单元的研究新视野，逐步完善对中国言语障碍人群从音段特征到超音段特征的系统描写，为中国言语听觉康复事业提供新的研究范式和理论依据。

Chinese speech and hearing science needs to be cross-integrated with phonetics, audiology, rehabilitation medicine, computational linguistics and other disciplines to deeply investigate the discourse characteristics of Chinese people with speech disorders.
