陈振明，中国人民大学哲学博士，美国哈佛大学、康奈尔大学、杨百翰大学、德国行政学院等校的访问学者。厦门大学公共政策研究院教授兼院长，厦门大学公共事务学院创始院长，《厦门大学学报》（哲学社会科学版）主编；教育部“长江学者”特聘教授，中组部“万人计划”首批哲学社会科学领军人才，全国宣传文化系统“文化名家”暨“四个一批人才”；第六、七届国务院学位委员会公共管理学科评议组成员，第1-4届全国MPA教育指导委员会委员。主要从事公共事务领域的研究与教学工作，出版《公共生活的世界》《国家治理转型的逻辑》《理解公共事务》《公共管理学》《公共政策分析》《竞争型政府》《政府改革与治理》《公共服务质量管理》、Citizen Participation at the Local Level in China and Canada等专著。

Chen Zhenming, PhD of Renmin University of China, professor at the School of Public Affairs, Xiamen University. He is a distinguished professor of "Changjiang Scholars" of the Ministry of Education, one of the first batch of leading talents in philosophy and social sciences under the "Ten Thousand Talents Program" of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and a famous cultural expert and a "four one-batch" talent of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee. His works include Logic of National Governance Transformation, Understanding Public Affairs, Public Management, Policy Science, etc.
